Established in 1998, AHMHI is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, a recipient of "Spirit of West Virginia" Award, and provides a FAMILY TYPE ATMOSPHERE: No Alcohol, Non-Smoking Facility. The purpose of the AHMHI is to promote live music of all types to carry on our music heritage. We welcome old time, bluegrass, folk, country, classic rock, and story telling.

He finished the first guitar in 2005 and is currently a member of the Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans, and the Guild of American Luthiers. He currently builds three body sizes, Dreadnaught, OM, and a 12 fret Jumbo named the Irvine model in memory of his Uncle Glen “Dude” Irvine who taught him to play guitar. Bill has built one banjo, and an F model mandolin is in the planning stages. Each guitar is built by hand to your choices as to wood, inlay, and other options available to get the guitar you have always dreamed about.

The Irish Pub on Washington Street, or "The Pub," as it's know to locals, opened in Nov. 2006 and since then it has become an integral part of the community. As well as being a music venue and a bar, it is a community gathering place for myriad events ranging from benefits and fundraisers to Mardi Gras parties, wedding receptions (and even a wedding, once) to Pub Quiz Trivia night, or just a nice place to go of an evening for friendly faces and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
