June 17, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Come celebrate West Virginia’s birthday 4 days early at the Hill and Holler bike shop in Lewisburg for an evening of contemporary West Virginia literary and songwriting culture.

With Special Guests:
Scott McClanahan (Crapalachia, Hill William) & Juliet Escoria (Black Cloud)

The Travelin’ Appalachians Revue is a new literary collective based in Morgantown and organized by two of the featured performers on the tour, Tyler Grady and Howard Parsons. According to Parsons, the Revue is “an opportunity to spotlight the current moment in West Virginia’s underground music scene and writing community, while celebrating West Virginian heritage and pride.”

“Tales of Tribulations & Turpitude” marks the first major event for the music and writing collective.

The tour commences June 16th in Elkins, travels through Lewisburg, Charleston, Morgantown, and wraps up in Shepherdstown to celebrate the state’s birthday on June 20.

Songwriters who will be performing solo include:

Tyler Grady (Goodwolf)

John R. Miller (The Fox Hunt)

…and David F. Bello (The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die)

Writers who will be reading from their work include:

Howard Parsons (Founder: Black Bear Club Reading Series)

Keegan Lester (Co-Founder: Souvenir Lit Journal)

$5 to attend.

We hope to see you there!
