October 21, 2014 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

Free

Join friends new and old at the old Greenville High School building every Tuesday for lunch and acoustic strings music! The newly-renovated ‘Time Out building’ is now home to the Monroe County Council on Aging, and each Tuesday, they host lunch for seniors, preceded and followed by acoustic pickin’ and jamming by the likes of Larry Cox (of the Valley Bluegrass Band), John Lafferty (of Livin’ Proof, a local classic country group), and whoever else wants to join in.

Music starts around 11:00, followed by lunch at noon, followed by more music after lunch! From Union, go 6 miles South on 219, turn right on Route 122, go 5 miles into the heart of Greenville. School House Road will be on your left; follow it all the way around back of the old High School to the white cinder block Time Out building.

Cost of lunch is $5, or only $1 for those 60 and older.
