The Augusta Festival is the final weekend that caps off the summer session. It’s a wonderful celebration of traditional dance, craft, and music that is attended by thousands.

The Augusta Festival is an annual celebration of traditional music, dance and craft, the grand finale to our summer session.

FRIDAY FESTIVAL DANCE
Friday, August 11, 8 p.m.
Kick off the Augusta Festival by square dancing to live music in the open-air Augusta Dance Pavilion.
General admission: $7. Students and AmeriCorps: $5. Old-Time and Vocal Week students: Free.

AUGUSTA FESTIVAL & CRAFT FAIR
Saturday, August 12, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Join us for the festivities in tree-shaded Elkins City Park. The Augusta Festival includes a juried craft fair featuring the best regional artisans, live music on three stages, workshops, craft demonstrations, jam sessions, and children’s activities. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public, rain or shine.

FESTIVAL CONCERT FEATURING MOUNTAIN STAGE!
Saturday, August 12, 7:30 p.m.
The Augusta Festival concert will be recorded live for the internationally syndicated radio program Mountain Stage with Larry Groce. Heard weekly on NPR stations across the country, Mountain Stage is produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting and is celebrating its 34th year on the air. Keep your eyes on www.mountainstage.org and augustaheritagecenter.orgfor the lineup. Tickets available June 1 at www.dewv.edu. Tickets: TBA.

SATURDAY FESTIVAL DANCE
Saturday, August 12, following concert
The final dance of the summer will be held following the concert in the Augusta Dance Pavilion.
General admission: $7. Students and AmeriCorps: $5. (Included in Mountain Stage concert admission.)
